The mighty Chewbacca
While crafting this all I could think of is a particular scene in the cantina in Episode IV where Chewie makes a cursory glance toward Han. The look is so casual, but the whole thing is sold on the eyes alone. For me, it's that moment where Chewbacca ceased to be a guy in a costume and became a real, fleshed out creature. Well done, Mr. Peter Mayhew.
